The Vineyard Free Medical Clinic is dedicated to serving the needs of Delaware County & surrounding area residents who are unable to pay for health care. Staffed by licensed health care professionals including a doctor, we offer routine medical care at no charge, including: sports physicals, school physicals, health screenings, and treatment for non-emergency illnesses. We will also have members available to pray with you during your visit if you desire.  Clinic is held the first and third Monday evenings of every month at the church. If you have questions about services or would like to volunteer to help at the clinic(medical and non-medical volunteers are needed), email VineyardFMC@columbus.rr.com.   If a Medical Clinic day falls on a holiday, please call the church ahead of time at 740.965.8888 ext 30 to see whether or not the clinic will be open.

The Vineyard Food Pantry is open at the same time as the medical clinic. Guests receive pre-packaged bags of groceries furnishing 2-3 meals per bag; family size determines number of bags given. During Food Pantry hours, a meal of soup, bread and dessert is also served. High School Youth Group

It is the heart of the leadership that this be a place where a diverse group of students are challenged by Truth, worship the Creator of all life, experience the love of God and love one another.  The high school youth group meets on Tuesday evenings @ 7:00pm in the Youth Room.

Vineyard Family Gatherings

As our desire is to be a church family, we want to provide many opportunities for the "family" to gather. The list of Vineyard Family Gatherings below provides a glimpse of the events that are open to our entire church family; men and women, married couples and singles, children and adults, young and old. Keep your eye on the weekly bulletin distributed on Sundays or review the calendar link for the specific dates of each gathering.

Memorial Day on the Square - Come show your support for the community with the annual Flea Market on the Square. Shop the various vendors as they peddle their wares, enjoy food and drink from local vendors and support the church as we continue to tell the community about Jesus, our vision and values and answer questions. The festivities repeat on July 4th and Labor Day as well!

July 4th Parade - This longstanding Sunbury tradition is a great midsummer gathering event. Over the past few years, hundreds of Vineyard men, women and children have walked the parade route passing out candy, balloons and cold water (which is a big splash!).

Denny Young Day - During the first summer meeting at the Middle School, Danny Meyer received a call early one morning from the custodian. The school had been vandalized and the church wouldn't be able to meet that Sunday in the gym.
Well, it was too late to let the congregation know, so "Plan B". The church set up outside and held an impromptu service that morning. Following the Service, many from the church rolled up their sleeves and came alongside the custodial staff of the Middle School to clean the building. What would have taken days or weeks with just the staff, took only hours. A local reporter interviewed Danny Meyer, but in the article continually quoted "Pastor Denny Young" (who we've yet to identify). Denny Young Day is a reminder that we are called to anonymous service, looking not for rewards and accolades, but practical ways to love our neighbors. This annual event consists of a variety of Saturday service projects in the Sunbury community.
